Why Do You Want To Start Your Own Business
Examine your motives. Why do you want to start your own business?
Any one of the above reasons are honest, noteworthy reasons to begin your own business, however, if the following list is the driving force behind your motive to own your own business, examine your reasons very carefully as the are negative rather than positive reasons.
The above list can be realized by owning your own business, but it doesn't happen overnight. you must be prepared to work hard, be frugal with your earnings, be willing to put your money back into the growth of your business, and take orders pleasantly from others - your customers.
Hard, persistent, dedicated work will enable you to have the things you want out of life, but like any other venture, you must learn to walk before you can run. A child doesn't just stand up and begin walking, it must first crawl, learn to stand and then proceed one step at a time before it can successfully walk without falling. so to must you go through stages when starting your own business. Allow yourself time to gain experience and learn to make the right decisions before you proceed too deep into unrestrained growth. Allow your business to grow slowly at first then before you know it, the growth becomes exponential and becomes like a locomotive that can be stopped without a capable engineer.
One tool designed to help you through the early development of a mobile dry cleaning business is The MDCSP and the Mobile Dry Cleaner Manual. The Manual will help you get started and operate your dry cleaning business and the MDCSP gives you the ongoing support to help your business grow.
These tools are the parents hand that the child holds onto while going through its new experience of walking. The MDCSP is the support needed until the task is mastered and the locomotive is fired up and rolling along the tracks.

Hold a wacky contest.
The beauty of contests is threefold. You can announce the contest to your prospects, customers and the media. You can then announce the winners to the media and hopefully get press each time. Have multiple winners to delight multiple customers. Contests can be fun, wacky and imaginative: a messy desk contest, ugly tie contest, pet/owner look-alike contest, etc.
Take pictures of the winners and try to have them published and included in your sales literature.
